May 17, 2025 marked a very special day for the Greater Albuquerque community. On this evening, business leaders, our esteemed volunteers, Board Members, staff and donors gathered together at the Sandia Resort and Casino for our annual fundraising gala, Raising the Roof.

The night began with The Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra playing melodic, big-band style music for guests to arrive and settle in. Next, the lights were dimmed and a video was played showcasing GAHH staff in addition to an amazing year in pictures.

Guests then feasted on an extravagant buffet-style meal, wine and cocktails. As dinner wrapped up, our presenters took the stage one-by-one to brief the audience on all of the exciting happenings in our programs in addition to raffling jewelry, a premium pipe & Movato watch.

Contractors of the Year, ReStore Employee of the Year & Volunteer of the Year were also announced and presented with awards. Following the awards, our Board Treasurer, Lester Clements II, took the stage to discuss the impact of our continued partnership with Bank of America. Finally, three names were drawn and the Buick Master Six Sedan we raffled now has a proud owner.

The night commenced with dessert and dancing as guests exited the gala around 10:00 PM. What a night! Thank you to all who attended and our exceptional sponsors who made this all possible.
