May 30, 2025 marked a momentous day here at Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity. On this day, our Buick Master Six that we raffled at our annual fundraising gala, Raising the Roof, was transported to its new home.

Ms. Angela M., who purchased a single ticket, lucky number 39, came to claim her prize, an immaculate 1927 Buick Master Six sedan, fully restored and in good mechanical condition.

While she had spent several months on display in our ReStore, it was time for us to bid farewell and wish her a safe journey to her new home. Her proud owner is not quite sure yet what she will do with the vehicle but plans to give her the care and attention she deserves.

A very special thank you to Angela M. and all of our raffle ticket contestants. You helped us to raise over $20,000 for our cause of providing affordable homeownership and home repair services to families in our Greater Albuquerque community.
