Habitat ReStores are part home improvement store, part home goods store and part resale store. They offer new and gently used merchandise at affordable prices, and inventory changes frequently based on donations received from the community.
Best of all, shopping at the Greater Albuquerque Habitat ReStore does more than help you save money. Proceeds support Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity programs serving local families.

What Can I Donate?
We accept a wide variety of new and gently used items that are clean, safe and in resalable condition. A ReStore donation representative has final approval of all donations after reviewing the items.

Items We Cannot Accept
Some items cannot be accepted because of safety concerns, legal requirements, condition or resale limitations.
Examples include:
- Mattresses and box springs
- Clothing
- Bedding and blankets
- Baby items
- Medical equipment
- Used carpet and carpet padding
- Area rugs
- Household dishes and knick-knacks
- Computers and certain older electronics
- Car parts
- Hot tubs and jetted tubs
- Pianos and organs
- Used or opened paint
- Particle board
- Office cubicles
- Fluorescent and incandescent bulbs
This is not a complete list. Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity reserves the right to decline donations based on condition, cleanliness, safety and resale potential.

Large furniture, appliances, building materials and other qualifying items may be eligible for free donation pickup. Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity currently offers pickup service and online scheduling for qualifying large-item donations.
